Mr.B is a Cuban-British NYC based artist creating photography, textiles, digital art, text and participatory experiences about invisible disability and finding expansiveness thru limitation and erasure. Using a gamified approach to art and life, he goes on daily scavenger hunts finding inspiration everywhere from reflective surfaces, found objects and text, natural and artificial light and even his own medical materials. Funneled thru his hyper-sensory processing experience of the world, these everyday sights and materials become transportive, blurring the line between what is ordinary and what is otherwordly inviting viewers, collaborators and collectors to engage in a new hierarchy of attention and a prolonged state of presence that is practice-able and makes aliveness feel more possible.
